I usually keep my macs as long as I can. My only problem now is the browsers. Firefox, Chrome and Safari don't seems to want to support 10.5.8. At least FF and Safari run but there are some sites I visit that don't work well with those old versions and the new versions can't be installed on 10.5.8.
Any suggestions on a browser that will let my macs live a little longer?

I just installed TenFourFox for my G5 Mac running OS 10.5.8. It's an G5.1 Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2.16 GHz processor speed. I have 1 gig of memory (can't expand), but I have been able to run FF and Safari just fine. Global Nav Open Menu Global Nav Close Menu; Apple; Shopping Bag +. Since you're posting on an OS X 10.5.8 thread, I'm assuming you have a 10.5.8 system. Flash Player is no longer supported on OS X 10.5.8. The last supported version is 10.3.183.90, released 09-July-2013. It is available for download on the Archived Flash Player versions page. Use Software Update available on the Apple menu to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java 6 for your Mac. Java 7 and later versions are not supported by these older versions of Mac OS X. If you have problems with Java 6, contact Apple Technical Support. Java.com does not provide a download for these systems.
